Cohiba Behike is the Bentley of the most prestigious brand.
It carries 3 sizes: BHK 52, BHK 54 and BHK 56.
The production is extremely limited and exclusive. For the first time it incorporates the tobacco leaf “Medio tiempo” , which offers exceptional character and flavor. The filler is made up of the finest leaves from Volado, Seco and Ligero originating from the finest Vegas of San Juan y Martinez and San Luis. Also for the first time, it incorporates the Medio Tiempo that comes only from the two top leaves on sun-grown plants delivering exceptional character and taste.
Each Behike is donned with a band housing two holograms for security identification.
The quantities are limited due to the natural scarcity of the Medio Tiempo tobacco leaf.
The three heavy ring gauged vitolas are:
BHK 52: 52 ring gauge (20,64 mm) x 119mm in length Factory name: Laguito No 4.
BHK 54: 54 ring gauge (21,43 mm) x 144mm in length Factory name: Laguito No 5.
BHK 56: 56 ring gauge (22,22 mm) x 166mm in length Factory name: Laguito No 6.
These have never existed before. The blend and beautiful lacquered boxes are also a first.
This first ever Habanos Gran Reserva enhances the unique character of Habanos as a “Denominacion de Origen Protegida” (protected Denomination of origin).
The Gran Reserva concept means the best of what Habanos has ever made. The best Cuban tobacco leaves harvested in 2003 have been selected, fermented and inspected for a long period of five years. All the leaves used to make up a Habano -the wrapper, the filler and the binder- have undergone this meticulous 5 year process
Those precious leaves, after five years of care, are then laid in the skilful hands of Cohiba´s expert Cuban cigar-rollers at “El Laguito” factory in order to create this exquisite Habano for the most distinguished smokers.
Furthermore, the emblematic vitola “Siglo VI” (girth 52 x 150mm length) has been chosen for the production of this first Habanos Gran Reserva.
Every part of the process respects the criteria that one would demand of such a unique product. From the careful process of fermentation using the best tobacco from San Juan, Martinez and San Luis, to the exquisite blend selection process supervised by 50 testers, all elements are checked to combine so as to respect the unique character of Cohiba.
This is an unprecedented vitola in the Habanos portfolio. It’s a thick ring-gauge Habano in line with the brand’s latest launches. Its mild-to-strong taste, Cohiba’s traditional fermentation, plus a two-year aging process endured by the leaves, deliver a complex and highly scented character. This limited edition comes in a Varnished Slide Lid Box of 10 cigars.
Hunters & Frankau is delighted to announce that Habanos s.a. has awarded it the official world launch of the 2017 Habanos Limited Edition Cohiba Talismán.
This will allow UK Specialist shops and cigar enthusiasts to be the first in the world to sample and purchase these much anticipated Limited Edition Habanos.
The Cohiba Talismán measures 6 1/8″ (154mm) x 54 ring gauge (Cañonazo Doble) and will be launched at a world exclusive H&F event, most likely to be held in London in October.
This event will replace the annual H&F Summer Cigar Party for 2017.
